Correction of a breeding error and identification of new sources of resistance to disease

Dr. Walker and his team explain how they discovered an error in the parentage of an important collection of grape genotypes -and how they straightened it out. Even though this work may seem "too molecular" at first site, it is extremely meaningful as it can lead to new material resistant to nematodes and Pierce's Disease.
