Scholarships and Aid

Financial Aid

The University of California has a strong financial aid program. At UC Davis, the Financial Aid Office provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships, loans, grants and work-study employment. Each year, approximately 44 percent of the undergraduates at the University receive some form of financial aid.

It is ALWAYS worth students' time to fill out scholarship applications, which open each year on October 1. Many scholarships have specific restrictions concerning the students they are intended to assist, and as a result, they go unused-that recipient could be you!

Financial aid, including many scholarships, is awarded on the basis of need, after a careful review of the student's resources. For further information:

Scholarships, Awards and Prizes

The Department of Viticulture & Enology offers scholarships, prizes and awards to students in the V&E major. Selections are made on the basis of leadership, participation in departmental activities, interest in specific areas within the undergraduate majors, in addition to academic performance. The annual call for Departmental Scholarships is sent out through the student listserv and announced through student clubs.
