Getting Help and Reporting Problems

  • The Department Computer Support Staff will answer general questions related to the hardware and software in the computer room. Due to their many duties they are limited to only 5 minutes to answer a question. We suggest you read the Help files that come with most of the software that is installed or ask your classmates.
  • Do not attempt repairs on any of the computers yourself!
  • Please report any hardware and software problems to the Department Computer Support Staff, send email to bftvtech@ucdavis.edu.
