Bob's first few years in the wine business were holding various positions at E&J Gallo Winery after graduating in 1982 from DePauw University with an Economics Degree.  In 1990, Bob joined Lovotti Bros. Distributing Company in Sacramento, California as General Manager. In 1997, Bob began his career at Trinchero Family Estates as the Division Manager in Chicago, responsible for the Midwestern United States. Bob quickly moved into the National Sales Manager role in 2000, managing domestic U.S. sales for the company. In November 2001, Bob was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales-Global Sales Manager, overseeing Trinchero Family Estates' worldwide sales.

In 2004, Bob was appointed to his current role of President and Chief Operating Officer, assuming responsibility for what is now the fourth largest wine company in the United States and its dynamic, diverse portfolio of brands. Trinchero Family Estates is known worldwide for its industry innovation such as the creation of White Zinfandel in the 70's; packaging alternatives from Sutter Home 187s PET mini bottles to Bandit's Tetra Pak;  and starting the 'red blend' wine trend with the sales success of Menage a Trois.

Bob lives in Napa Valley with his wife, Marie and their two children.
