Andrew Zaninovich has worked with his family’s grape and wine business in Central California for the past few decades. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis in Plant Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
His current professional responsibilities include managing the family’s nursery, raisin production and marketing, table grape breeding programs, and their central California wine grape and wine businesses, as well as portions of the table grape production. Through collaboration with his father and brothers, these ventures are structured to navigate the complexities of California’s agricultural and viticultural industries.
Andrew is involved with the California Rootstock Improvement Commission and the Rootstock Foundation. He previously worked with NGRA (at the time, NGWI) as a technical advisor for the California Table Grape Commission.
Away from the vineyards, Andrew has been happily married for 25 years and is a proud parent of three adult children. He is an avid advocate for agricultural education and youth development. His interests include FFA, Boy Scouts and lacrosse.
