Additional Information for Job Posters

Job Posters are required to create a valid user account and Log-in prior to posting any job listings.

The account will allow Job Posters to create new job listings and remove listings for filled positions.

It is the responsibility of the Job Poster to remove listings once they have been filled.
Postings can be marked as filled on the job posting submission page.

It is the responsibility of the Job Poster to check the posting for accuracy.

All Postings are subject to review and approval by our staff at our sole discretion.

Posting automatically expires after 90 days, you are welcome to repost the announcement if it has not been filled. 

Editing listings

You can edit a listing on the job posting submission page. However, it will need a review by our staff.

If an error is found in an approved posting, you can edit the job, but it will need a review by our staff.

Reposting an expired listing

Please reach out to bftvtech@ucdavis.edu if you want to repost an expired listing. You will need to provide the job title and the data it was posted.

 

USAGE GUIDELINES FOR VENJOBS


SPECIFIC PROHIBITED USES

VenJobs specifically prohibits any use of the Site, and all users agree not to use the Site, for any of the following:

Posting or transmitting any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, "spam," chain letters, telephone calls or any other form of solicitation or any non-job related information such as opinions or notices.

Spamming VENJOBS' OR the companies whose vacancies are listed on the site.

Responding to a listing other than the purpose of applying for a job on behalf of yourself.

Posting any incomplete, false or inaccurate vacancy information.

Deleting or revising any material posted by any other person or entity.

LIABILITY


The VenJobs Site is only a venue. The Site acts as a venue for companies to post job opportunities. VenJobs does not screen or censor the profiles or other information. Because user authentication on the Internet is difficult, VenJobs cannot and does not confirm that each user is who they claim to be. VenJobs expects that you will use caution and common sense when using the Site.

VentJobs is not involved in the actual transaction between companies and candidates. As a result, Venjobs has no control over the quality, safety or legality of the jobs or profiles posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of companies to offer job opportunities to candidates or the ability of candidates to fill job openings. In addition, note that there are risks, including but not limited to the risk of physical harm, of dealing with strangers, foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretenses. You assume all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom you come in contact through the Site.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the vacancy listed and that the content and accuracy of any vacancy placed by you on the Site. Companies are solely responsible for their postings on the Site.

VenJobs does not warrant or guarantee that a job posting will be viewed by any specific number of users, or that it will be viewed by any user.

VenJobs is not to be considered to be an employer with respect to your use of the Site, and VenJobs shall not be responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason, made by any entity posting jobs on the Site.

VenJobs listings will be removed after three months, unless otherwise updated as filled by the Poster.
