Job Description: Are you looking for an exciting adventure in winemaking this season? Join us at Jachter Family Wines! We’re seeking a passionate individual to join our harvest intern crew this season! Work alongside and learn from famed winemaker Jared Etzel as we embark on our 2024 vintage to produce world-class, small-lot Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Nebbiolo from our ultra-premium estate-grown fruit.
What you’ll be doing...
LOTS and LOTS of cleaning.
AssisQng with fruit processing, sorQng, and pressing.
Also helping with fermentaQons, cap management, and various cellar tasks. LiRing and moving heavy objects.
If you are...
Eager to learn.
Passionate about wine.
Excellent at communicaQon and teamwork.
Thrive in a dynamic environment.
Available from mid-August to late October.
Able to work long hours (12+) and have flexibility (6-7 days a week).
Able to liR 25+lbs, repeatedly, every day.
Able to follow verbal and wri[en instrucQons.
Some harvest, winemaking, and/or forklift experience is great but not required. A posiQve can-do a^tude and a good sense of humor are a big plus, too.
