Job Title: Seasonal Cellar Hand

Job Description: Cristom Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Eola-Amity Hills, producing site-focused Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Gamay noir and Syrah in a biodynamic, environmentally aware and sustainable manner.
We’re currently seeking a diverse, enthusiastic team for our 2024 Harvest. Each member of the crew will have the opportunity to experience all elements of cellar work, as well as biodynamic farming and animal husbandry.
Cellar Hand Responsibilities:
• Traveling to nearby vineyards for maturity sampling
• Processing maturity samples
• Cleaning and sanitizing tanks and equipment
• Physically demanding barrel work
• Sorting incoming fruit
• Daily cap management activities (mostly punchdowns)
• Barreling down juice and wine
• Digging out red fermenters
• Other cellar tasks, as needs arise
• Occasional vineyard work, as time allows
Includes free housing on the estate, free catered harvest meals, free wine and hourly compensation with plenty of overtime.
