Job Title: Harvest Hand

Job Description: Harvest is right around the corner and The Ojai Vineyard team has room for one more person this harvest!
We are looking to hire someone August-November with previous winery/harvest experience. We offer a $25 hourly pay plus overtime. Workdays start at 8am sometime ending at 5pm. We alternate weekends when possible. At the peak of harvest we work 6 days per week, 12 hour days.
Our harvest team of four is small in order to give everyone the opportunity to work on all levels of the craft, including a little vineyard work. The 1.25-acre vineyard is a short walk from the winery. The rows are planted with UC Davis hybrid grapes that are resistant to pierces disease. We are lucky to be located in Oak View where the winery is surrounded by oak trees and beautiful plants. But our crush pad is outside and temperatures can get to 100 degrees for multiple days.
Unfortunately we do not provide housing.
