| Job Description | This position is responsible for assisting the Production Manager and the Senior Agronomist with multiple tasks throughout the year. Candidate will also work in conjunction with the company supervisors on inventory, quality control, trials and lot inspections. Responsibilities: Monitor, evaluate, and expand current nursery quality control programs. Develop and execute an inventory management system for production inputs. Oversee product inventory levels and create status reports for management. Structure and conduct experiments as requested by management. Collect data, statistically analyze, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations. Work with the Pest Control Advisor in monitoring disease pressures during the nursery growing season. Limited travel throughout California assisting with future planting sites soil analysis, post-plant vineyard development monitoring, and pre-harvest field inspections. Requirements: Bachelors of Science with an emphasis in Plant Science or related field, ability to obtain a PCA license, and a Valid California Driver?s License. Knowledge of Statistics and Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. |
