Color evaluation of winegrapes by CIE L*a*b* parameters

<p>After measuring grape color in the vineyard, these Italian authors found two color indices that were strongly correlated with skin anthocaynin concentrations as measured in the lab. The implications are that we may soon be able to evaluate grape anthocaynin concentration in the vineyard.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The full text is published in <em>International Journal of the Sciences of Vines and Wines</em>, not available online. </p>
