Join us in supporting underrepresented students, while learning about famous wines and wine regions from world-renowned faculty in the Department of Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis. This lecture will take you along an entertaining travelogue, include a guided wine tasting experience and will introduce you to hidden gems from across the globe.

Andrew Waterhouse, professor and an internationally recognized wine chemist, is currently interested in the effect of oxidation on wine chemistry and how this oxidation affects important quality parameters of wine, such as taste and color. Waterhouse is currently testing some new theories on wine oxidation chemistry.
