Dr Linda Bisson is Awarded the Craig Lectureship in Microbiology at OSU
Our own Dr Linda Bisson was awarded the 2011 James M. Craig Memorial Lectureship in Microbiology, which is sponsored by Food Science and Technology, Microbiology and the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University.
Her first lecture on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 is entitled "The Scientific Art of Winemaking: Grapes Rotted to Perfection", and will be held at LaSells Stewart Center at 7:00pm on the OSU campus, and is free to the public. See the attached agenda for details.
Her second lecture of the series, entitled " Adventures in Elimination of Off-Character Production in Wine Strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae: the Hydrogen Sulfide Story" will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011. The details are on the attached flyer.
