First priority is V&E and FS&T Teaching!

The following conference rooms, Sensory Theater, Interaction Areas, outside Courtyard and the Rossi Patio can all be reserved on-line at http://calendar.fst.ucdavis.edu/.

Once on- line, please select the space you would like to reserve and then click "add a single event" located at the top of the page. When requesting reservations, please fill out all fields and mention V&E within the description so it goes to the right approver.

Room 1207 South - 52 fixed seating - 110 standing

Room 2209 South (V&E only) - 3 tables, 12 chairs

Room 3215 South - 4 tables, 16 Chairs

Sensory Conf Room- 28 Occupancy - (Rm 1024 Sensory Bldg) (Only approved by RMI staff)

RMI Courtyard - is available for use, however, if the activity in anyway could be considered disruptive to classes and/or certain research your request could be denied.

Interaction Area - 2ND Floor North - is available for use, however, if the activity in anyway could be considered disruptive to classes and/or certain research your request could be denied.

WHEN REQUESTING use for sensory space, please follow the special instructions included below:

Sensory Theater -74 occupancy sensory style, 111 standing (Rm 1000 South Bldg) This space is to be used for teaching sensory courses and, if there is no conflicts, departmental seminars. If there is a need to use the space for an other uses, such as non-sensory courses, workshops, short courses, summer camps, conferences, etc. the Sensory Building committee will, after a petition for the use, decide on a case by case basis whether the use is will be allowed.

Sensory Foyer and interaction areas: The foyer is available for use outside class hours, however, any uses that coincide with classes and seminars scheduled in the sensory theater must also be approved by the sensory building committee, after a petition for use had been made.


The petition should include the following information. This should be included under "Description" while adding your event to the calendar. It will be forwarded to the appropriate committee for approval.

o Name of petitioner
o Email/phone number of petitioner
o Date and time of event
o Name and purpose of event
o Number of potential attendees
o Why the committee should allow the event

 

V&E has one additional TA conference room located at 3146 RMI North. This room is only available to V&E and can only be reserved through the V&E front office. Please contact Traci Chriss or Susan Woody.
