Plans Underway for DEVO 7th Annual Dinner Under the Winkler Vine
The Davis Enology and Viticulture Organization (DEVO) is a student club founded and managed by students in the Department of Viticulture and Enology at the University of California, Davis. DEVO promotes dialogue among students, faculty, alumni and the local and international wine community concerning winemaking and grape growing issues.
DEVO sponsors and participates in a variety of events throughout the academic year. These include local and international immersion trips to winegrowing regions, industry and alumni mixers, educational tastings, Picnic Day demonstrations for the public and of course, our annual Dinner Under the Winkler Vine.
Proceeds from this important charity event go to DEVO’s scholarship fund and the many enriching educational events that we hold throughout the year. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students in the department of Viticulture and Enology who are pursuing international winemaking internships.
