Wada Wins American Society for Horticultural Science Award

Hiroshi Wada, Post-doctoral researcher working in the Mark Matthews lab has received the American Society for Horticulture Science Publication Award. The award is in recognition of the most outstanding paper on floriculture, ornamental horticulture, or landscape horticulture published by the Society in year 2005. Wada, was main author on the paper co-authored by: Mari Iwaya-Inoue, Mitsuru Akita, and Hiroshi Nonami. Their paper, entitled “ Hydraulic Conductance in the tepal Growth and Extension of Vase Life with Trehalose in Cut Tulip Flowers was published in the Journal of American Society for Horticulture Science, 130 (2):275-286.
