The winery was founded in 1959 by Sonoma County wine pioneer Rodney D. Strong as the 13th bonded winery in the county. It was purchased by the Klein family, a third generation California farming family, in 1989. Job Description
SUMMARY: Will assist with grape maturity sampling as directed by Winegrower.

• Collect grape samples from vineyards to test maturity level during the harvest season
• Report on viticultural practices and vineyard conditions

• Must provide own vehicle to drive to vineyard sites; Company will reimburse at the Standard Mileage Rate
• Must have a valid and clean California drivers license
• Good reading, writing and general communication skills (English required, bilingual in Spanish a plus)
• Good observation and problem solving skills
• Ability to follow directions and work under minimal supervision
• Have a working knowledge of general safety procedures

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must be able to operate a four wheel drive pick-up and an ATV as well as load and unload an ATV to and from a 4 wheel drive PU.
