We currently produce California, Oregon and Washington wines. We are seeking an administrator to manage our GIS mapping and database program so that we can continue to use these tools to make informed decisions in vineyard development and fruit sourcing.

Job Description Responsibilities:
•Day to day management of GIS projects, ArcGIS online home page, users, and groups
•Provide real-time database reports relating to vineyard contracts, maturity data, and harvest data
•Continuing development of the GIS database and applications. Maintain and develop systems to keep accurate records of contracts and all viticultural data and reporting. Create new ways to report data
•Support the grower relations team with the necessary GIS tools to collect/record vineyard data. i.e. Forms, Apps
•Analyze vineyard land suitability for potential pre-plants; assessing topography/aspect, soils, acres, weather
•Create various maps that show NDVI, Appellation, Degree Days, and more
•Provide maps for marketing use based on wine program regions, vineyard sourcing areas, etc.
•Provide technical and training assistance to users
•Collect missing data and update records. Ensure accuracy of database and data
•Assist with IT management of SQL Server geodatabase

Other Information Qualifications:
•Minimum 2 year’s hands on GIS experience
•Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ESRI ArcGIS Platforms
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills
•Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and follow through
•Experience with vineyard mapping or other agriculture mapping preferred
•Experience with Survey123 and Collector apps ideal
