Job Description DRNK Winery is seeking an intern for the 2018 harvest season. We’re a dynamic boutique producer crafting distinctive small lot wines from 7+ grape varieties. Our dedicated team is looking for a top-notch individual who shares our passion for wine and quality driven winemaking. This hands on position includes all aspects of harvest winemaking. Harvest is the most exciting time of the year, and also the most action packed! A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a great attitude are key.

Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and winery, vineyard sampling, lab analysis, fruit sorting and processing, fermentation monitoring (Brix/temp), punchdowns and pumpovers, additions, barrel work, draining and pressing, and helping with bottling run.

Prior winery experience and wine education are desired. Candidates should be highly motivated and excited about good wine, detail driven, and able to work well under guidance. In addition, candidates should have good communication skills and be reliable, punctual, and prepared to work variable hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Period of employment will likely extend from late July through late October/early November depending on the season.
