|Company Description||Boutique winery in south Santa Cruz County, we produce premium wines from the Santa Lucia Highlands, Santa Cruz Mountains, Monterey and Dry Creek Valley AVA’s. Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.|

|Job Description|| Duties:|
-Winery and Equipment Sanitation
-Fruit sorting and processing
-Operating and cleaning the Destemmer, press, pumps, etc
-Cap Management (Punch downs and pump overs)
-Record keeping and data entry
-Barrel work, such as cleaning and filling
-Current study in Enology and Viticulture or Certificate Program
-General knowledge of winemaking practices
-Some laboratory experience
-An interest in practicing the art & science winemaking
-Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety rules
-A high attention to detail
-Steady and confident on a ladder
-A hard worker, with a willingness to work long and variable hours
-Ability to work well with others as well as alone
-Personal integrity, reliability, and a willingness to communicate
-Previous experience is preferred but not required
-Reliable and high work integrity
-Valid drivers license
-A good sense of humor!
The Intern must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 pounds, twisting, repetitive movements, bending down, and climbing ladders.
The start date and end date is flexible. Wage is based on experience and motivation. Candidates must be able to stay for the duration of harvest.
