Job Description Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform all day-to-day operations associated with grape harvest. Including, but not limited to, the decisions and execution of receiving fruit, processing, fermentation, additions, cap management, pressing, managing labor crews, daily documentation, ML fermentation, sulfuring and topping
• Writing and issuing work orders, BOLs, weigh tags, fermentation charts, sulfur records, topping records, up-to-date bulk wine inventory, and harvest data
• Pulling samples for clients or lab work
• Coordinate and help in blending, filtering, and bottling decisions and execution
• Ensures that the cellar meets winery sanitation standards and equipment is fully functional and well kept
• Assures cellar operations satisfy production goals

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years wine production experience
• Management and/or Supervisory experience in a cellar or some related field
• Excellent verbal and communication skills preferred
• Knowledge of cellar safety regulations and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and resource allocation
• College degree preferred
• Fork lift certified

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 55lbs
• Works indoors/outdoors
