Job Description Primary Responsibilities:
This position will primarily be responsible for maintaining the vineyard department’s fleet of equipment. The duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Coordinate and perform repairs
• Preventative maintenance and part ordering/organization
• Maintain an assigned service truck
• Fabricate parts and equipment as needed
• Supervise fellow mechanics where appropriate
• Act as supervisor for tractor operations as needed
• Good communication with multiple managers; effective prioritization
• Coordinating operations with other departments as needed
• Providing leadership to others through examples and sharing of knowledge and skills
• Self-teaching and independent research of strategy/task-pertinent information
• Long hours (12+ hour days/nights as necessary); flexible attitude towards the busy season

Desired Requirements:
• Supervisor experience
• Experience in a vineyard setting and associated equipment
• Experience with John Deere and Pellenc tractors
• Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting ability
• WSDA Pesticide License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Clean driving record (MVR) and possess a valid driver’s license
• Great Attitude
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) is preferred, but not required

• Pay: Depends on experience
